Before you begin

Your organization has the Asia Daily Take. If it does, the home page has an Intelligence box.
Optional: know the country or territory you follow, such as Malaysia or Hong Kong.

What it is

Bilby publishes three kinds of item for everyone in an organization with the Asia Daily Take:

KindWhat it is
BriefingBilby's analysis of a development
PredictionWhat Bilby expects to happen next, and by when
DocumentAn original source, such as a government notice

You'll find them under Intelligence on the home page. It's different from Radar, which watches only what you asked Bilby to watch.

The Intelligence tab, with a briefing open. Numbers match the steps on this page.

Step 1: Open Intelligence

Go to the home page and scroll down to Explore what's available in Bilby, or choose Discover in the sidebar. Choose Intelligence.

If you have topics on Radar, Your Radar comes first. The published items follow under From Bilby.

Step 2: Narrow the list

  • The tabs show All content, or only one kind: Briefing, Prediction or Document.
  • All regions picks one country or territory.
  • Search briefings, predictions, and documents… searches the items on this tab, and nothing else.

Previous and Next at the foot of the list move between pages.

Step 3: Read one

Press an item to preview it: its title, its date, a summary and, under Content preview, the text itself. Open original source opens the source on its own website, when the item has one. Copy link copies a link that opens this preview.

Step 4: Use it in a question

Press Use in my question. The item joins your question as a chip above the question box, and Bilby answers with that item in hand. You can add more, up to 20 items, from Intelligence and other tabs. Type your question and send it.

What does this mean for a bank that sends client data to its regional office in Singapore?

Opening an item never sends anything. Bilby starts work only when you send the question.

Step 5: Follow it on Radar

  • On a briefing or a document, press Monitor this. Bilby opens a new chat, reads the item and puts its topic on Radar, then tells you when something about it changes.
  • On a prediction, press Let me know if this comes true. Bilby tells you if it happens, and on the date the prediction names it tells you either way.

Items you follow say On Radar in the list. See Follow a topic.

Note

Bilby can make mistakes, and a prediction is a judgement, not a fact. Open the original sources before you rely on anything important.

Try it in Bilby

Open Intelligence and read today's items.

You'll need to be signed in, in an organization with the Asia Daily Take.
