Before you begin

The invitation email. Its subject reads "Join Acme Research on Bilby", with your organization's name, and it comes from noreply@bilby.ai. If it isn't in your inbox, look in your Junk or Spam folder.
The address it was sent to. You join with that email address, so use the same one when you sign in.
Optional: a Google account on that address, if you'd rather not choose a password.

How joining works

The invitation link opens Bilby on your invitation. New to Bilby, you make an account from there; already have one, you sign in. Either way you come back to the invitation to accept it.

Your invitation in Bilby. The number matches Step 3.

Step 1: Open the invitation

In the email, press Accept invitation. Bilby opens your invitation: who invited you, the organization, your role and when the invitation expires. Invitations last 7 days.

Step 2: Make your account, or sign in

New to Bilby? Press Create an account to join. Type your name and choose a password; the email address is the one the invitation was sent to. Then press Sign up. You can also use a Continue with button, such as Continue with Google, with that same address.

Because you came from the invitation link, Bilby already knows the address is yours. There's no confirmation email to wait for.

Already have a Bilby account? Press I already have an account and sign in with the address the invitation was sent to.

Step 3: Accept

Back on your invitation, press Accept. Bilby opens your new organization and says who invited you. Vaults shared with the whole organization appear under Vaults in the sidebar.

Not ready yet? Not now keeps the invitation waiting under Invitations, in the menu that opens from your organization's name at the top of the sidebar. Decline turns it down, and the person who invited you would have to invite you again.

Tip

Belong to more than one organization? Press your organization's name at the top of the sidebar. The menu lists your organizations with a tick on the one you're in. Pick another to switch.

Sign in next time

Go to pulse.bilby.ai and sign in with your email and password, or with the same Continue with button you used before. Forgot your password? Press Forgot password?, type your email address, and press Send reset link. The email's link lets you choose a new one.

Your organization's name is at the top of the sidebar. It opens in a new tab, so this guide stays here.
