Bilby's screen. Numbers match the lists below.

The sidebar

  1. Your organization. Its name and logo. Press it to switch to another organization, see Invitations waiting for you, make a New organization, or open Organization settings.
  2. New chat starts a fresh question. Under it, Search your chats… finds a chat by its title.
  3. Library keeps the files you attached and the files Bilby made in your chats, and, where your organization has them, its own documents. Radar lists the topics Bilby keeps checking for you; the number is how many have news you haven't read. Some organizations have more items here.
  4. Vaults are shared spaces for one piece of work, with their own chats and files. Press + to make one. See Share a vault.
  5. Recents are your chats. Point at one and press More options to Rename, Open in new tab, Export or Delete it.
  6. Your name and plan. The menu opens on your email address, then Settings, What's new, Help & feedback and Log out. Help & feedback opens this Help Center and the Feedback form.

To hide the sidebar, press the Bilby mark at its top left. On a phone, the sidebar opens from the menu button.

Explore

  1. The question box. Type a question the way you'd ask a colleague and press Enter. See Ask your first question.
  2. Explore what's available in Bilby. The top row is the questions people bring: Intelligence (what), Predictions (what next), Decision makers (who) and Timings (when). The second row is what Bilby answers with: Analysts, Outputs, Data and Vaults. Press one to open it, and Back to Explore to return. Which boxes you see depends on your organization.

Tip

In the question box, type @ to choose what Bilby works with, such as Bilby search or Web search, or / for commands such as New chat, Effort, Settings and Memory.

Inside a chat

Your question sits on the right and Bilby's answer below it, with small chips that name its sources. At the top of the chat:
