What the Library holds
Library in the sidebar has two tabs:
- Your files: every file from your chats. Uploaded ones are files you attached. Generated ones are files Bilby made, such as briefs, spreadsheets and pages.
- Knowledgebase: the documents your organization keeps in Bilby. See Your organization's documents.
Your files covers the files you attached, and the files Bilby made in chats you started, in every organization you belong to, vault chats included. If you leave an organization or a vault, its files leave your Library too.

Browse attachments and artifacts from your chats
Step 1: Open Library
Choose Library in the sidebar. It opens on Your files, newest first, with each file's name, when it last changed, its size, whether it was uploaded or generated, and the chat it came from.
Step 2: Find the file
- Search files… finds a file by its name, or by the name of its chat.
- All, Images and Documents narrow the list by type.
- Filter sources shows only Uploaded or only Generated files.
- Grid view and List view switch between thumbnails and a list.
Scroll down and press Load more for older files.
Step 3: Open it
Press a file to preview it, full size, without leaving the Library. Some files can't be previewed; Bilby says so.
To work on the file again, go back to the chat it came from. Its name is on the file's row: type it into Search your chats… at the top of the sidebar. In that chat, Bilby can change a brief it wrote, or read a file you attached again. See Make a brief.
Note
A file attached to one chat helps only that chat. To give a team the same reference files in every chat, add them to a vault's Files. See Your organization's documents.
Try it in Bilby
Open your Library and search for a file.
You'll need to be signed in. It opens in a new tab, so this guide stays here.
